The Electoral Panel for Complaints and Submissions (PZAP) rejected as impermissible the appeal of the ruling party, Levizja Vetëvendosje (LVV), against the certification of the largest party of Serbs in Kosovo, Serbian List, for participation in the February 9 parliamentary elections.
The ruling party asked PZAP last week to annul the decision of the Central Electoral Commission (CEC) on the certification of the Serbian List.
“The complaint filed by the Vetëvendosje Movement… against the Central Election Commission, which requested the annulment of the Decision of the CEC dated 31.12.2024, and ordered the CEC to issue another decision,” says the PZAP announcement on Thursday.
At the end of last month, PZAP ordered the CEC to certify the Serbian List, after accepting the appeal of the Serbian party against the commission’s initial decision on its non-certification, saying that this party had submitted the documentation in accordance with the Law for general elections and with other CEC rules.
