For the first time in the elections of May 14, the citizens of the district of Elbasan will have the opportunity to select the candidate they prefer through electronic voting.

“I don’t know, I am 88 years old, it will be hard. The vote will be wasted. I have no idea what they are,” said an elderly woman.

“We have never voted electronically, but we will learn, they will help us,” said a lady.

When the voting devices were installed in Elbasan it was promised that they would remain until the last week of the elections, they have been removed for several days. Some citizens still do not know that voting will be electronic.

Rural areas remain a problem, in which the electronic devices that will serve to vote have not been installed yet. Consequently, voters are not familiar with how they will vote. In the entire district of Elbasan, there are 224 centers where voting and counting will be done electronically.
