Prime Minister Edi Rama hold the end-of-year conference, which he began with an overview of the main developments of 2025 and the government’s priorities for the period ahead.
Rama also touched on international assessments of Albania regarding economic and human freedoms, mentioning the Economic and Human Freedom Index published by the American Cato Institute.
The Prime Minister emphasized that Albania is ranked 39th in the overall classification and 9th in all of Eastern Europe.

Meanwhile, new businesses have increased by around 20%, foreign investments have grown by over 10%, and the stock of foreign investments is significant and higher by more than 10% compared to last year.
The average salary in the third quarter reached 833 euros, a significant increase.
In a few days, the law on the minimum wage will also come into force, setting it at 500 euros, which will affect a considerable number of employees in both the private and public sectors,” said Prime Minister Edi Rama.
