Enkelejd Alibeaj reacted after the KAS decision, which gave him the right to register the Democratic Party in the May 14 elections, overthrowing Sali Berisha.

Through a post on social networks, Alibeaj said that the decision of KAS is confirmation of the legal obligation to register PD.

According to Alibeaj, the delay created by the State Commissioner for Elections, Ilirjan Celibashi, is a damage done to the democrats and the Albanians.

Among other things, Alibeaj has invited all democratic candidates to join the DP logo in the local elections.

“Today’s decision of the KAS is confirmation of the legal obligation to register DP in the May 14 local elections. The delay of almost two weeks for this process, by the chief commissioner Celibashi, is a damage that has been done to the democrats and the Albanians by the extensions of the old policy in the independent constitutional institutions. On this occasion, we once again invite all democratic candidates, without any distinction, to unite and present themselves with a DP candidate in the local elections. Let’s put aside grudges and disagreements and let’s do the best we can in the face of Edi Rama’s regime,” Alibeaj wrote on Facebook.
