The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, held a meeting this Monday with the European Union Ambassador to Kosovo, Aivo Orav. The meeting comes as Orav concludes his mandate in Kosovo.
The EU Office in Kosovo, through a post on Facebook, announced that Orav thanked Osmani for the cooperation during his term. He also emphasized that the European Union remains Kosovo’s strongest and most reliable partner on its path toward European integration.
“In a farewell meeting today, Aivo Orav thanked the President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, for the cooperation during his mandate as EU Ambassador to Kosovo, emphasizing that the EU remains Kosovo’s strongest and most reliable partner as the country advances toward the EU,” the statement said.
Orav assumed the position as the new head of the European Union Office in Kosovo on September 2, 2024, succeeding the Czech ambassador Tomas Szunyog.
