The EU Ambassador to Albania, Luigi Soreca, took it to Twitter to announce the arrival of 6,000 Pfizer jabs from Austria through the EU-funded vaccine delivery.

As he reiterated the bloc’s support in the fight against the pandemic, Ambassador Soreca also confirmed that by the end of August another 145,000 Pfizer doses will be delivered to the country.

So far, 17.50% of the population has received at least one vaccine dose, while infections have dropped drastically with only two cases reported on Monday by authorities.
