The European Union has officially confirmed the meeting between Kosovan Prime Minister Albin Kurti and Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic.
According to the EU’s statement, the meeting will take place on June 15 in Brussels, while among the attendees will be EU’s diplomacy chief Josep Borrell and the EU Special Envoy for the dialogue Miroslav Lajcak.
“On Tuesday 15 June, a high-level meeting of the Belgrade-Pristina Dialogue will take place in Brussels. It will be facilitated by High Representative Josep Borrell, who is supported in this by EU Special Representative Miroslav Lajčák. President of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić and Prime Minister of Kosovo Albin Kurti will participate,” the statement read.
During their recent visit to Kosovo, both Miroslav Lajcak and US representative Mattew Palmer said that the “US and the EU remain committed to the dialogue, with the aim of achieving a final deal”.
