At this Monday’s meeting of the Committee of Permanent Representatives (Coreper), the ambassadors of the EU member states decided to ask Albania to share its position regarding Chapter 6, which refers to foreign policy.

This step enables the European Union to start working on the preparation of its common position, with the aim of realizing the next Intergovernmental Conference with Albania.

According to a post on the X network, of the Hungarian Presidency of the EU, this request to Albania is an important step towards the continuation of the talks on the integration towards the European Union.
