Main foreign currencies in the market have continued a slight decline on Friday. According to the official exchange rate from the Central Bank, the US dollar lost 0.23 points, being exchanged at 100.31 lek.
Euro also continues to lose points after the recovery in the last week of August. With a minus of 0.33 points, the currency is exchanged at 107.32. The fall of the Euro during this summer reaches the lowest historical levels, reaching below 100 lek. This strengthening of the lek was mainly explained by the influx of visitors during the tourist season.

On the other hand, the British pound continues to be the strongest foreign currency compared to others. With a drop of 0.18 points, it is exchanged for 125.18 lek. In July, the British currency reached the lowest value of this year, being exchanged at 115.7 lek.
