This year, more people are visiting Albania. In the first 4 months of the year, more than 2.3 million foreigners entered Albanian country, or 30% more than the beginning of last year.

According to INSTAT, only in the month of April, there were 794 thousand foreign visitors, who together with 610 thousand Albanian citizens who came from different countries registered a flow about 20% higher than in April of 2023.

The region with the highest number of foreign nationals entering Albania is the European region with 754 thousand citizens, followed by America, East Asia, respectively with 17 thousand and 5000 citizens.

The growing trend of people visiting Albania this year is expected with the offer that the government has announced through investments in infrastructure and private businesses with guides, hotels and food services.

The tour operators themselves say that the summer season is expected to reach another peak, with reservations that have been closed so far from hotels and guesthouses on the coastline.
