The European Union has reacted with an official statement about the tensions that occurred today in the north of Kosovo.

They strongly condemn the violence between the Kosovo police and the local Serbs who came out in protest.

EU indicates that the newly elected mayors of the northern municipalities had attempts to enter the facilities of the municipalities.
