On the morning of September 16, Serbia’s Ministry of Internal Affairs reported an explosion at a factory engaged in the production of rocket propellants.
The incident took place at the EDePro company located in Lestane, on the outskirts of Belgrade, involving a machine engaged in propellant manufacturing.
Preliminary reports indicate that there have been no injuries or casualties resulting from the explosion.
Emergency response teams have swiftly arrived at the scene, and as a safety precaution, authorities have temporarily closed an exit on a nearby highway in proximity to the affected factory.
EDePro, as per their website, specializes in providing solutions for various defense industry equipment, including rockets, rocket engines, and drones.
Lestane, the site of the defense industry factory, is situated approximately 15 kilometers to the east of Belgrade.
