Exports continue to decline in Albania. During the month of February, they cost 32 billion ALL, or 16% less than last year.

In the month of February, Albania exported less “Made in Albania” goods. Statistics show that they decreased by 16.1%, capturing the value of only 32 billion lek compared to February of last year.

The opposite has happened with foreign goods, which seem to have gained ground in Albania, marking an increase of 6.4% compared to a year ago.

But as we observe this pace of export and import, the production in Albania in the activity of the industry has marked a decline in almost all areas of the sector.

The first two months, the country has exported with little electricity, textiles, shoes and construction materials, goods which have brought lower profits.

As for imports, there was an increase in machinery with a 7.4% increase and food with a 1.6% increase.

According to the markets, in export it is noted that the exchanges with Kosovo have had a greater increase, while in import the strong addition comes from Greece, Italy and Germany.
