On the eve of International Women’s Day, FemFest, a festival focused on women, is being prepared.

FemFest 2024 will be held from March 4-8, and this will be the third edition of the festival.

Like the previous year, FemFest is built on a platform of inspiring performances, debates, and discussions focusing on women.

The festival will feature artists, activists, writers, politicians, and singers who, through various art genres, will give voice to issues that are not spoken about or heard. The proceeds from ticket sales will go towards funding four scholarships for four students at the University of the Arts.

Planned to continue annually, marking International Women’s Day, the festival aims to revive the original purpose of March 8: to celebrate the cultural, political, and socio-economic achievements of women, calling for the full realization of their rights.

This edition will feature 10 performances, and each day, there will be sections like FemTalk and panels moderated by significant female figures in public life in the country.
