The festive atmosphere that has engulfed Shkodra since December 1 has attracted foreign tourists who are in Albania. Albanians who have come from Austria, or Spanish tourists can be found in the festive square erected in front of the Shkodër municipality.

They show that they have found a warm atmosphere in Shkodër, and promise to return to Albania again during the summer season….

“It’s a beautiful place with lots of lights, it’s a very nice atmosphere. It is a very beautiful place and everyone who will come will be impressed”

“It is the first time we come here. It seems a very nice place, we are from Spain from Zaragoza. We are very impressed by the Mediterranean culture, by the holidays and everything else looks very nice”

“We are all from Spain. All Albanians are very nice, they ask us where we come from. It is the first time we are in Shkodër, we arrived in Shkodër this morning. We really want to come here again in the summer”

“I love this, I really love this atmosphere. People are happy, they sing and dance, it’s very similar to Spain, people are very passionate” – say the citizens.

This year, Shkodër Municipality started the celebration on December 1 under the slogan “Gzo n’Shkodër” bringing every night to the square in front of the municipality an atmosphere of celebration, interspersed with lodges that offer services and products for everyone as well as games for children which are headline of Christmas and New Year holidays.
