14 officials of the state administration have resulted with documents in the files of the former state insurance from the verifications that were made during 2023.

The report of the Authority for Files states that a total of 124 requests for information were submitted to this institution during the past year.

124 requests for 232 officials have been filed with the Authority for Information on State Security Documents (AIDSSH), from various institutions.

The goal was to verify the purity of their image. The requests belong to the year 2023, for which the authority has reported that 14 of them resulted with documents in the former state insurance.

For 10 other officials, the non-legitimization of the request for verification was decided, for 1 official the verification was stopped at the request of the institution, while for another official the suspension of the verification was decided, in reference to the request of the requesting institutions themselves.

The report states that there is an increase in verification requests to 232 from 214 in 2022.

The Authority for Information on State Security Documents has managed to verify more candidates for 2023, an increase of 22.4%. Meanwhile, the verifications have resulted in 9 candidates having problems.

Requests to the institution have also been submitted by local units regarding the verification of the verification of the figure of the persons who are proposed for decoration and the proposals for the naming of public spaces with the names of personalities.
