The Ministry of the Interior has published the final voter list for the upcoming parliamentary elections on May 11, 2025, for all eligible voters residing within Albania.

According to data generated by the General Directorate of Civil Status, 3,713,761 Albanian citizens, both inside and outside the country, have the right to vote. Among them:

• 114,642 are first-time voters

• 1,081 individuals are excluded due to decriminalization laws

• 5,225 is the total number of voting centers

The compilation of the final voter list was conducted under the supervision of CEC auditors and went through multiple stages, in accordance with the President’s decree, through the publication of three extracts of electoral components.

For the first time in the history of parliamentary elections in Albania, the voter lists include two categories:

• Voters residing within the country

• Voters residing abroad

The final list concludes the drafting and announcement process of the Voter List. The Civil Status Offices in each municipality continue to fulfill their responsibilities in preparing the electoral infrastructure.

Meanwhile, citizens are encouraged to apply for or renew expired electronic ID cards, one of the two biometric documents required for voter identification in the May 11 elections.
