Five new ministers of the Albanian Government were sworn in before the President of the Republic, Bajram Begaj this Tuesday.
A day prior, the Parliament approved the appointment of the new ministers proposed by Prime Minister Edi Rama, following their prior decree by the President.
Today, Albana Koçiu was sworn in as the Minister of Health and Social Welfare.
Ogerta Manastirliu was sworn in as the Minister of Education and Sports.
Igli Hasani was sworn in as the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs.
Anila Denaj was sworn in as the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development.
Arbian Mazniku was sworn in as the Minister of State for Local Governance.
The governmental adjustments were announced by Prime Minister Rama during the Socialist Party Assembly on September 4.
Pending decree by the President and Parliament are ministers Ervin Mete and Delina Ibrahimaj.
Ibrahimaj will serve as the Minister of Finance and Economy and then assume office as the new Minister of State for Entrepreneurship and Business Climate, until Ervin Mete is relieved from his duties as the head of the Financial Supervisory Authority.
