The mayor of Shkodra, Bardh Spahia, says that he is closely following the situation on the ground after the deterioration of the weather.
In a post on Facebook, Spahia writes that all the work groups are on the ground, but the situation remains quite difficult due to the discharges from the hydropower plants of the Drin cascade.
He has appealed to KEESH leaders to inform them in real time about the flows and surcharges so that the situation does not get out of control.
“I ask for the cooperation of the residents so that in case of emergency they contact the municipal structures for evacuation or any other need that may arise” – Spahia writes, among other things.
