The number of investors in Albania has been increasing. The data of the Bank of Albania in the first 6 months of this year show that it is the Turkish companies that have increased their capital in our country.

Revenues are worth 146 million euros, an increase of 115% compared to the previous year.

What stands out is the fact that Turkey ranks first on the list, after the Netherlands, which has been at the forefront as the main foreign investor in Albania.

The stock of Turkish investments has reached 1.16 million euros, an increase of 88%, compared to 2023.

Most of these investments are in the construction, financial, energy and extractive industries.

Italy ranks second on the list, with a focus of 95 million euros, although there is an 11% decrease compared to a year ago.

According to the Bank of Albania, the increase in the investment stock is not only related to new flows, but also taking into account changes in the exchange rate, price changes and others.
