The Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs of Albania has issued a statement regarding the situation and the escalation of conflict in the Middle East. The ministry has called on Albanian citizens to avoid all non-essential travel, especially trips for tourism purposes to this region.
“Following previous communications regarding the escalation in the Middle East region, and given the conditions of insecurity and unpredictability of developments, the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs reiterates its call for Albanian citizens to avoid, as much as possible, any non-essential travel—particularly travel for tourism purposes—to this region until further notice.
The Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs is closely monitoring developments and will continue to keep the public informed,” the statement said.
