Tirana police have uncovered another premises adapted as a call center, through which several individuals deceived foreign citizens over the phone into investing in fictitious stock markets.

As part of the operation codenamed “Location 1,” six individuals were arrested, and one other was prosecuted.

As a result of this operation, the following individuals were caught in the act and arrested: A. K., 25 years old; S. S., 26 years old; S. M., 22 years old; E. H., 30 years old; B. I., 25 years old; and S. Ll., 29 years old, all residents of Tirana. Additionally, M. D., 20 years old, was criminally prosecuted.

These individuals were caught red-handed by the police while deceiving foreign citizens into investing in a fake stock market, with the intention of reclaiming money that the victims had previously lost through the same fraudulent scheme. They carried out this activity in a call center set up on “Dritan Hoxha” street.
