Former president of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, is in Kosovo this Monday. According to Kosovo’s media, the reason that the former president left the cell premises in Hague is to get permission to visit his mother, who has recently shown health problems.

Accompanied under strict security measures, Thaçi went to his house in ‘Buroje i Skenderaj’, due to the condition of his mother’s health.

It is known that Thaçi was allowed to meet only his parents and none of the other family members, writes KlanKosova.

The mother of the former president had medical treatment at the hospital, meanwhile she is now in her apartment where she is receiving the necessary medical care.

Thaçi’s visit is only for one day and he is expected to return to the detention cells in Hague in the afternoon.
