Court of Appeal of general jurisdiction has transferred the case of Fredi Beleri and Pandeli Kokaveshi to Special Court.
Fredi Beleri, elected by vote as the mayor of Himara and Pandeli Kokaveshi, was appointed by the Court of Judicial District of Vlorë as a security measure, arrest and imprisonment for active corruption in elections carried out in collaboration.
In the session held this Sunday at Court of Appeal of General Jurisdiction, composed of the panel with Judge Mr. Fuat Vjerdha, it was decided to send the case to Special Court of Appeal for Corruption and Organized Crime.
“At the end of trial, today on 29.05.2023, Court of Appeal of General Jurisdiction, composed of the panel with Judge Mr. Fuat Vjerdha decided:
Sending the documents to the competent Court, Special Court of Appeal for Corruption and Organized Crime”, – it is stated in the notification of Court of Appeal of the general jurisdiction.
