Promoting Kosovo as a destination for foreign investment was the main goal of the conference “French Business Day in Kosovo,” organized by the European Investors Council, with the participation of institutional representatives and businesses from France.

In his address, France’s Ambassador to Kosovo, Olivier Guérot, emphasized that Kosovo is an attractive country for French companies, highlighting its human potential and ongoing developments.

“Kosovo is an attractive country for French companies. There is a lot of energy, a lot of youth, and a strong desire to undertake initiatives. The country is transforming, developing, and modernizing,” said Olivier Guérot, Ambassador of France to Kosovo.

The event was also attended by Kosovo’s Acting Prime Minister, Albin Kurti, who stated that Kosovo is open to serious investments and major partnerships, particularly in infrastructure.

“Kosovo is ready for major infrastructure partnerships, open to serious investments, and is expanding its trade opportunities with Europe and beyond,” Kurti said.

Kurti added that Kosovo offers institutional stability, public security, and fiscal discipline, elements which he described as essential for foreign businesses.

Meanwhile, Emrush Ujkani, Executive Director of the European Investors Council, said that the aim of the conference is to create concrete connections between the public sector, international partners, and the private sector.

“Our ambition is to promote investment, encourage innovation, and turn shared interests into concrete projects,” Ujkani said.

This marks the first time that the conference “French Business Day in Kosovo” has been held in Pristina, with the aim of fostering economic cooperation and increasing investment between Kosovo and France.
