Border police in Kakavija seized €30,000 of undeclared cash from a French tourist who was trying to cross the border.

The Money was found after a routine checkup and the 62-year old man from Lyon was detained for further questioning.

FRONTEX authorities in cooperation with Albanian border patrol discovered the undeclared cash inside an envelope.

The French tourist was crossing from Greece and is now being accused of failing to declare cash at the border and Money laundering.
