Analyst Genc Burimi says that Prime Minister Edi Rama should be investigated in Albania, as his name was mentioned in the file of the former FBI official in the USA, Charles McGonigal.
In an interview for Euronews Albania, Burimi said that the new justice should at least interrogate Rama, so as not to appear suspicious and impartial.
According to him, if the international factor will not talk about this issue, the opposition has the right to protest.
“This justice today, if it doesn’t interrogate Edi Rama at least once, as a witness, will be, until it removes the monopoly of impartiality, a justice that is tarnished and a suspect.
Without saying a word today, to calm public opinion, about this mega scandal, not Albanian, but global. As long as this justice will remain silent, the more this justice will sink into a crisis with Albanians, it is complete chaos. Therefore, today I propose to the opposition, if justice does not make any moves and if the German ambassador in Tirana who represents the EU does not react, to start putting some pressure. If the US ambassador does not react, today the opposition should go and demonstrate in front of the European Parliament, in front of the Capitol, and in front of the FBI, with the slogans “investigate Edi Rama”. We are talking about a new justice,” he aruged.
