German Embassy lifts all travel restrictions for Albania, here are the guidelines

The Federal Government of Germany has lifted all travel restrictions and entry obligations for residents of Albania, a regulation coming into effect starting from Sunday, June 20th.

Through a post shared on their official Facebook page, the German embassy in Tirana has given all the necessary guidelines for all citizens that decide to travel to Germany.

“Lifting of entry restrictions from Albania to Germany. With effect from Sunday, 20.06., 0:00 h CET, the Federal Government lifted all restrictions on entry for residents of Albania. Traveling to Germany in Albania will therefore be permitted for all travel purposes from this date. Airborne entry requires proof of test, proof of recovered or proof of vaccination,” writes the post of the German embassy.

Starting from today, EU member states should start to gradually lift travel restrictions for all citizens, who come from non-EU member states.

In the list updated by the European Council ranking places that are considered safe in terms of the pandemic, Albania, North Macedonia and Serbia have been added as well.
