With the arrival of spring, there will be a second reward for over 700,000 pensioners. The government passed what is known as the spring bonus.

This reward worth 6.3 billion ALL is expected to be distributed a few weeks before the May 11 elections.

The government also approved an amendment to the law on assessment and financial compensation for former owners. December 2027 has been set as the last date for review and evaluation, while the end of 2028 for the financial compensation of the former owners.

Until the end of 2028, the government foresees an amount of 14 billion lek for the financial compensation of the former owners.
