The Socialist Party pledges 40,000 new jobs by 2030, aiming to reduce unemployment to 6%.
The commitment is outlined in the government program, which envisions that young people will be guaranteed a position in either the public or private sector through education and special four-month training programs.
To build careers in the country, emigrants are also invited back through a dedicated platform designed specifically for them.
The program aims for a sustainable economy with an average annual growth of 4%, raising per capita income to $15,000, up from today’s $10,300. The government commits to raising the minimum wage to €500 by 2026, granting 18 months free of additional taxes for low-income workers, and raising the national average salary to €1,000 by 2030, with the public sector average reaching €1,200.
To achieve these results, vocational schools will be directly connected to businesses, ensuring equal working conditions, dignified treatment, and a reliable social system. By 2030, one in three students is expected to be enrolled in vocational education.
