Greece has today opened its borders for tourists from Albania.
The decision was announced by the Albanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which noted that in order to enter the EU country, citizens must have with them:

- Vaccination certificate
- Or proof of recovery from COVID-19 (valid for 2 to 9 months).
Children over 12 will have the same criteria as adults. Nevertheless, random tests will continue to be carried out at the border crossings by the relevant authorities.
Meanwhile, until June 28, the crossing quotas at the border points remain in force:
- 1500 people a day in Kakavija.
- 250 people a day in Qafë-Bota.
- 400 people a day in Kapshtica.
