Minister of Health, Ogerta Manastirliu told reporters after the end of the government meeting that doctors have the right to make private visits outside the official working hours with patients they choose, but the bill for the service is determined by the hospital board.

Such a decision comes within the framework of the hospital reform and the opening of hospital autonomy.

Hospitals that can turn this place into practice are QSUT, Durrës and Shkodra hospitals. Other hospitals will need to have hospital autonomy and a management card in order for doctors to perform private visits.
