Eight musical concerts will be held in the second edition of the Himara International Music Festival from August 3 to 10, at the Castle of Himara.
Renowned musicians and artists from Albania, Germany, France, Kosovo, Romania, Russia and more, will be performing classical and traditional music pieces throughout the festival week.
Performances dedicated to nature “Lament of the Earth”, a repertoire with choral music by composer Rafet Rudi, selected parts of traditional civic and contemporary songs by composers Gjon Simoni, Çesk Zadeja and Vasil Tole, parts by Brahms, Debussy, Fauré, Mozart, Dvorak, Schubert and Chopin, performed by French pianist Sebastian Ene, as well as fantastic sounds by 24-year-old musician Théo Ould will be some of the selected pieces of the festival program.
The National Tourism Agency assured vacationers that these will be some unforgettable vacations for everyone attending the festival.
“You will experience music and countless surprises at the beautiful Himara Festival, which will make your vacations on the beautiful Albanian coast unforgettable, under the guidance of Tourism Event of Albania (TEA),” emphasized the National Tourism Agency.
During last year’s edition, 11 musicians from Albania, France, Germany, Japan and Cuba performed various genres of music such as jazz, tango, contemporary and classical pieces.
