America does not support the idea of either “Greater Albania” or “Greater Serbia.”

This was the clear message that US Ambassador to Kosovo Jeffrey Hovenier gave during a meeting with journalists.

This statement came after many controversies and discussions sparked by Prime Minister Albin Kurti’s visit to North Macedonia, where after he met with the Albanian factor there, he was accused of promoting the idea of ”Greater Albania”.

Among the first to publicly articulate this accusation was Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, who called Kurti’s visit to Tetovo a scandal and the display of symbols of “Greater Albania” with the inscription autoctonus.

Even Dimitar Kovacevski, the Prime Minister of North Macedonia, condemned the display of these symbols, stating that it is against the laws of his country.

After these accusations, the government of Kosovo reacted through its spokesperson, considering these accusations useless, since according to him Vucic is the one who is working and insisting for the Serbian world.
