How many citizens will not participate in the elections? Barometer findings

The barometer in Euronews Albania has asked the citizens of Tirana whether they will participate in the local elections and 44.4% of the capital’s citizens answered that they will certainly participate.

36.8% of the citizens of Tirana expressed their skepticism, saying that maybe we will participate in the mayoral elections. While 9.7% of the residents of the capital have expressed that they will probably not participate in the local elections.

Meanwhile, 5.7% of the citizens of Tirana have expressed that they will certainly not participate in the local elections.

Among those who have expressed that they will probably not participate in the local elections and certainly will not participate, 15.5% are men, while 15.4% are women.

Those who will not participate in the local elections are more in the 35-44 age group with 21.9%, followed by the 25-34 age group with 20.2%, the 45-54 age group with 17.6%, the 18-24 age group years old with 15.4% and there is a discount in the age group 55-64 years old with 9% going to 6.5% in the age group 65-75 years old. 39% of those who will not participate in the May 14 elections are not politically identified, while 12.8% are DP voters and 6% are SP voters.
