Even this year, there seems to be an increase in the prices of beach loungers in the beaches of Albania.
Euronews Albania correspondents have reported from various coastal cities about the prices that citizens have to pay this year to enjoy the seaside.
According to the information they have gathered, beach prices in Albania range from 300 lek, which is the cheapest price in Seman, to 1000 euros, which is the price for those who choose to frequent the elite tourism in Ksamil.
“In the old beach area, prices for a beach lounger are 500 lek, while if we talk about the Lungomare area, prices range from 700-1200 lek, and in more exclusive areas alongside Radhima, prices go as high as 2500 lek. In these areas, there is an increase in prices during weekends,” said Euronews Albania correspondent in Vlora, Ebrieta Maçaj.
Even in Velipoja, prices seem to be higher.
“Only in the last rows can you find beach loungers for 500 lek, while if we refer to the center, the cheapest price that can be found is 1050 lek for 24 hours, but there are also those who charge 2000-2500 lekë,” said Euronews Albania correspondent for Shkodra, Teodor Gjerga, who made an observation in Velipoja.
Meanwhile, the highest prices seem to be found in areas in Saranda this summer.
“Saranda is much cheaper than Ksamil. In the most minimalist beaches, beach loungers start at 1000 lek up to 5000 lek. Ksamil starts at 1500 lekë in family-friendly and more minimalist beaches, while in others, it ranges from 2000-3000 lek. But we also have elite tourism starting from 50 euros and ranging up to 300 euros and more, considering the additional services offered within the package. The beaches in Borsh, Bunec, and Lukova continue to have economical prices, with beach tents costing 1000-1500 lek,” reported Euronews Albania correspondent for Saranda, Anxhela Lushkaj.
Meanwhile, the cheapest offer comes from the Municipality of Fier. Euronews Albania correspondent Mariglen Bita reports a price range from 300 lek to 500 lek per beach lounger at the Seman river.
