Hundreds of Orthodox believers have become part of Black Friday, which symbolizes the death of Jesus Christ.

The journey of the Epitaph has started with the gathering of Orthodox believers from five churches in the square in front of the “Resurrection of Christ” cathedral, followed by believers and many citizens of Korça city including those of other religious faiths, they moved along the pedestrian street and “Fan Noli” and “Republika” boulevards in the 14 stops of the sufferings of Jesus Christ.

The Black Friday ceremony was led by the Metropolitan of Korça and Voskopoja, His Grace Monsignor Joan Peleshi.

The epitaph symbolizes Christ’s arduous journey to his crucifixion.
