Prosecutor Edvin Kondili has started the presentation of his platform before the KLP as one of the three candidates for the new head of SPAK.

Kondili said that he entered the race because he has the neccessary training and courage to lead this Prosecutor’s Office, and to attack the phenomena of organized crime and corruption.

He also said that if he were to be elected to this post, his commitment would be to restore faith in justice.

“If I will be given the opportunity to be a leader, my commitment will be maximally focused on restoring faith in the justice system”, said Kondili.

In addition, he said that during his 15 years as a prosecutor for serious crimes, he held no leadership roles, but according to him, this is a strong point, when taking into consideration how leaders were chosen at that time.

“During 15 years as a prosecutor for Serious Crimes, for no moment have I had a leadership role, which penalized me in front of the KLP when I competed for the first time. Personally, I continue to express my opinion that I consider not being a leader during that period to be a strong point, given the general way in which most leaders were promoted at the time, in a centralized justice system that was done directly by the general prosecutor”, said Kondili.
