Lawyer Besart Logu commented on the statement of the head of the Democratic Party Sali Berisha in the show “NOW” on Euronews Albania, where he said that even if he loses the local elections on May 14, he will not retire.

In an interview for Euronews Albania, he said that Berisha at no time took steps to save the DP but for his own interests.

“Berisha is not known as a politician who takes or recognizes responsibility. He has been active in politics for 32 years. He produces news. He has its ups and downs. Berisha has not taken any responsibility for what he has done for so many years. I don’t believe he will take responsibility for losing the election. The movement of the pulpit was not in the service of DP, but it was a movement for Berisha’s personal reasons. Berisha’s mission does not end with the loss of a pair of elections. I don’t see him backing down at any point. These are the taxes of the Democrats. Berisha is fighting for his personal problems,” he said.
