A tragic event took place today in Gramsh, Albania, where 15-year-old Fatjon Bici lost his life from stab wounds after a conflict with some of his peers.

The conflict happened near the school “Asllan Shahini”, where 5 teenagers were involved in a fight.

The principal of the school, Ardiana Hasa, told in an interview for Euronews Albania how she had learned the news, which, as she said, had affected her a lot. She said through tears that the 15-year-old was a very good child, and he had never created any conflict at school.

“Fatjoni finished his lessons, he had physical education, left the gym together with the physical education teacher, met the guard and asked him about his sister, whether she ran home or not. After 20 minutes someone picks me up on the phone and says: ‘a student has been killed’. I don’t know what I experienced, I immediately went to the hospital and the doctor told me that Fatjoni was dead. The pain was excruciating. The pain is suffocating me, they took the life of an exemplary child”, said Hasa.
