After joining the United States of America and the EU, Albania can also ban Tik Tok on the official devices.
The head of deputies of the Social Party, Taulant Balla, considers this necessary for the security of the country.
“The social network Tik Tok should be banned, in the public institutions”, Taulant Balla, in the European Integration Commission, declaring it as a great risk for security, from China.
“I am part of those European policies that Tik-Tok is a security risk in our Euro-Atlantic space. I join every US congressman and senator, but also the EU’s recent decision to stop being registered in official equipment at all three levels. I think it should take this step of banning official use devices, with the suspicions that the Chinese Communist Pars control of the Tik-Tok message and that the personal data circulating in these countries is at risk.”
During his speech, where the draft law on audiovisual media was discussed, Balla said that Albania should strengthen the security of personal data that resides on this social networking platform.
“The Authority of Self-Visual Media just approves the regulations and the platforms regulate themselves. I’m talking about Twitter, Netflix, YouTube. Let’s follow the European rules in Albania. It will be necessary to strengthen the whole era, to stop the interception of the personal data we have from these platforms”, said Balla.
Some Western countries, the US and the membership of the European Union decide to ban the use of TikTok by official workers.
