Prices in 2024 did not suffer strong fluctuations. Indicators speak of an average level of inflation, 2.2% from 4.8 that was in 2023.

Inflation in December increased slightly compared to November. The holiday season seems to have affected a number of products, such as meat, dairy and oil, but also furniture and household appliances.

The slight tightening of prices in these goods and the stable market in other items brought inflation to 2.1% from 2% in November.

In annual terms, inflation eased in 2024. Indicators speak of an average level of 2.2% from 4.8 in 2023 and 6.7% in 2022, when the price crisis erupted from the chaos produced by the invasion of Ukraine.

The data reported by INSTAT speak of a stable market, not only in Albania, but also in Europe and beyond, where Albania imports goods.
