The Minister of Interior Bledi Cuci has responded to rumors of a potential dismissal of the General Director of the State Police Ardi Veliu.

Asked by opposition MP Luan Baci during today’s national security committee meeting, Cuci responded “you will learn that when the time is right”, but neither confirmed nor denied the rumors.

Ardi Veliu was appointed the General Director of the State Police on 5 February 2018.
