The Minister of the Interior, Taulant Balla, has stated that everything must be done to eliminate violence against women and girls in Albania.

Balla made the comments through a reaction on social networks, after the serious event that happened in Durrës, where 41-year-old Bedrije Loka committed suicide after being bullied through an account with her name on Tik Tok.

Balla also said that there should be no justification for gender-based violence, neither at home, nor in the workplace, nor in public life.
