The Special Prosecution Office of Kosovo announced that it has opened a criminal case regarding threats made against Vjosa Osmani-Sadriu, the President of Kosovo.

The case relates to the criminal offense of “Violence against high representatives of the Republic of Kosovo,” under Article 121 in conjunction with Article 119, paragraph 1, subparagraph 1.1 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kosovo.

According to the official statement, the prosecution has authorized the Directorate for the Investigation of Organized Crime and Serious Crimes of the Kosovo Police to take all necessary actions to fully investigate the case.
