The lawyer Kreshnik Spahiu says that the reason why DP decided to organize the protest on December 6 has nothing to do with the summit between the EU and the countries of the Western Balkans that will be held in Tirana.

In an interview for Euronews Albania, Spahiu said that this date is related to the trial that will determine which grouping within the DP will receive the budget, logistics and party seal.

“On the 6th, the judicial process will take place that decides which group will keep the million euro budget financed by the Albanian state, who will take over the logistics, the logo tradition. Getting DP means having a wealth of resources with which you can easily compete in elections. If you have 2 Swiss banks, you cannot compete with the DP and SP infrastructure in elections. The trial is historic and fatal for the one who will lose the logo. It has nothing to do with the international factor,” said Spahiu.
