The deputy of “Fratelli D’Italia, Sara Kalany, in a live link for Euronews Albania, spoke about the Albania-Italy agreement for migrants.

She emphasized that the agreement is for 86 thousand people to come to Albania every year. According to her, immigrants will not be allowed to leave the camp, which is expected to be built in 2024.

Among other things, she underlined that families will not be separated.

“86 thousand people per year are expected. Migrants will not be allowed to leave the camp that will be built. Inside the camp, security will be guaranteed by the Italian authorities. Of course, cooperating with the Albanian law enforcement forces that will be located outside the camp. The law in Italy does not provide for families to be separated.

Families cannot be separated. Meloni and Rama confirmed at the press conference that these centers will be ready by spring 2024. We have time during the winter to build this camp as well and to adjust the protocols that will be applied to this agreement and then for next spring will finish,” she said
