Head of diplomacy Ivica Dacic said today that Serbia should be careful of all provocations and that the Serbs in Kosovo should remain calm and trust their country, which will do everything to maintain peace after the clashes yesterday and the death of 4 Serbs and a Kosovar policeman.
Dacic has said that in this situation the international community is allowing a conflict to occur in Kosovo and according to him it is letting the Serbs be shot by the “Kosovo-Albanian police”.
He emphasized that everything that is happening now is the continuation of the efforts of the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, to provoke the whole situation.
Dacic emphasized, among other things, that when the conflict broke out between Serbia and the Albanians in North Macedonia, the entire international community was involved in the resolution of this conflict and that now the Serbs do not even have the right to protest against the terror that is being exercised against them.
The senior Serbian official added that Serbia is in favor of continuing the dialogue respecting the principles agreed 10 years ago.
Dacic also emphasized that the Banjska monastery is a cultural-historical, religious monument of the 14th century and that there is no mosque from that period near it, which best proves the centuries-old existence of the Serbs on KIM.
