TKOB has opened for the first time the festival with jazz music, entitled “Jazz Wednesday”, where throughout 9 Wednesdays, a concert with jazz music will be held, dedicated to various themes, with professors from the conservatory “Gesualdo da Venosa” of Potenzia Italy.
Every dinner is different, with different instruments, several different currents of jazz, from the most classic American to the most technological today”, said Abigeila Voshtina.
A project of cultural and historical importance, which will return to tradition, began with “Timeless Jazz Songs” with the interpretations of the teachers of the Jazz School of the Potenzia Conservatory.
“TOKB’s offer for this collaboration, to start this Jazz festival in Tirana, has been very important to give even more value to this current”, said Felice Cavaliere.
“This festival is of great importance because thankfully music has a universal language, and the union between TOKB and the conservatory of potenzias will make possible a meeting between cultures and generations,” said Aniello Cerrato
This project is a collaboration between the Opera and Ballet Theater and Conservatory “Gesualdo da Venosa”, Potenza, supported by the Ministry of Culture, the Italian Embassy, the Italian Institute of Culture.
Every Wednesday Jazz at TOKB will be unique, but jazz will be spoken in the language of saxophonists, guitarists, there will be evenings dedicated to the didactic aspect of jazz music and definitely to classical jazz music.
