The decision of the Parliament’s Bureau last Thursday, regarding the exclusion of journalists from attending the future meetings of the Parliamentary Commissions, has spurred the reaction of journalists, who decided to conduct a symbolic protest today before the parliament building, where the plenary session is expected to take place.

The protest is being held today at 09:30, a few minutes before the beginning of the plenary session that has been planned for today and the journalists are demanding to overrule this verdict and to reallow the presence of representatives of the press in meetings of parliamentary commissions.

Meanwhile, Parliament today is planned to hold the vote on president Ilir Meta’s impeachment.

However, the head of state has called the Parliament expected to convene today and vote on his formal dismissal, “anti-constitutional” and he has also emphasized that he will most definitely be leading the presidency until July 24th 2022.
